So I'll confess, I've always been a night owl, but I also loveeeee early-early mornings because, there’s something so magical about that time of day when everything seems so calm and quiet, and the noise of everyday life seems to be at a standstill. I cherish those moments and I'm sure a lot of you do too.
For most, including myself, its the absolute perfect time to plan and jump start the day! Here's what I (often) do to jump start my day every morning.
GET UP EARLIER
This is one of the hardest for a lot of people, but if you have the option to get up earlier, then do so. 5:00am to 7:30am are my golden hours. Here’s why:
Get stuff done
You get way more stuff done with less distraction and you can even schedule an early workout so that frees up more time to do other stuff later in the day.
Enjoy some quiet time to reflect, meditate or plan out your day. I use this time to really focus on myself, and everything i’d like to accomplish during the day or week ahead.
NOURISH MY BODY
A tall glass of refreshing water is the single best thing you can put in your body first thing in the morning. It is by far the easiest way to get more energy, clear your mind, flush out toxins and keep headaches away! You can also follow that with a yummy smoothie, a breakfast snack or fruit and of course… some coffee! :)
I love catching up on the morning news, reading articles, checking my emails and most importantly reading a lot of the messages, comments and questions from you babes. Nothing inspires me more than that. I get to know what you all want so I can continue to produce more of that.
Also, if you happened to have a favorite book you started reading, its the perfect time to quickly get through a chapter or two. Reading is a great way to get your brain working out in the morning.
